Together with the Lysimeter Conference in Gumpenstein 2015, a meeting of the international steering committee of the Lysimeter Research Group took place. Dr. Sascha Reth (managing director of UGT) – as a member of the steering committee – was delighted by the work in the last year. A highlight was the lysimeter excursion in the fall 2014. The positive feedback on the UGT installations of lysimeters in Borovce, Tatranská Javorina and Michalovce, all in Slovak Republic was given in the group.

At the conference itself we have present our PE-HD lysimeter station in front of the conference building. The participants got the chance to visit the station and discuss the need for their projects.
